Things To Do In Eastern Oregon
At Quadrant 25, there is no shortage of family friendly activities for outdoor adventurers. From winter sports to horseback riding and hiking, our venue was made for this. Click here for an interactive map to discover more.
Hiking
Quadrant 25 is ideally situated in the Eagle Cap wilderness area with access to several major trailheads such as West Eagle, Buckhorn, and Catherine Creek. We are happy to coordinate transportation to and from these areas as guests may choose to hike Eagle Cap point to point from Joseph, Oregon.
Horseback Riding
If you’ve been searching throughout eastern Oregon for horseback riding that’s top-notch, look no further. At Quadrant 25, we have an affinity for our equine friends and we want to share this passion with you. So, if you’d rather take in our stunning views by horse rather than by foot, we are knowledgable (our owner is a veterinarian and experienced rider), and can match you to a horse for the best experience possible. For more information about our horses, click here.
Winter Activities
Looking at our photos, you’ll quickly see that Quadrant 25 is not short on grand views. It’s also a place for some of the best Nordic skiing and snowshoeing in the Wallowa Mountains. We are located in the heart of snowmobiling country but if you prefer a slower pace across the terrain, we offer snowcat rides through Catherine Creek Snow Park, as well as Christmas tree expeditions. To see ski and snow mobile routes, check out our how to connect page. For an added, unique adventure, come stay the night in one a cozy snow cave. No matter your winter activity of choice, we invite you to stay and play in our winter wonderland.
Biking
Another option to bask in nature and soak up all the glorious views the area offers is to hit the nearby trails on bike. In particular, Quadrant 25 is situated near a 134-mile looped trail called the Grande Tour Scenic Bikeway. Our overnight guests will be able to take advantage of coordinated pick-up service from Catherine Creek Snow Park too, alleviating the stress of transport issues, or the worry of leaving your vehicle unattended, once you start your route.
